Initial Training Now Complete! 9.1.2011 Update

The initial product training is now complete and Melanie Mol from E2020 should be contacting sites to schedule onsite visits to provide a half day of specialized just in time training for any implementation issues you might be having. Check the effective practices page linked above. Susan has added 3 additional NACOL documents that you might find helpful as you implement either virtual school or blended learning.

Updates to the Portal 8.22.2011

Thanks to Bill and his excellent coding skills, our Effective Practices page is operational. Please record any vicotries as well as strategies for overcoming the variety of problems that crop up with any implementation. My hope is that we move from procedureal, operational problems into strategies for teaching and learning in time. Click the "Effective Practices" link above to submit your victories and read how about others.

Susan Powell has also posted the follow up training schedule on the "Training Dates" page.

Another Round of Training is Done!

Several schools partcipated in the Education 2020 Introductory Training at the CV Tech El Reno campus this week and Susan Powell did a great job sharing the student portion and the web administrator portion. I know I learned a lot about E2020 from Susan.

I have added a link to the link bar above of the effective practices page where we will share research and suggestions. As always, if you have any questions, please email them and we will work to get you the answers you need.

Don

Hello, Everyone!
I am Don Wilson, Coordinator of Educational Technology at CVTC. I am so happy to be working with you on this exciting project.

Here is the Tech Installation Guide for the media servers. Chris McSween is making the rounds on the Media Servers. Several have asked if they are supposed to install them on their own or if e2020 is sending someone around. I will find out more on that and post the reply for everyone. Thanks!

Visit the "LINKS" page for more information. I just put some sample documents on from Bixby Public Schools so you could see what they did with their virtual program documents.

Thank you for getting all your forms in and your information confirmed from the June 7th training! e2020 will now be able to get the users set up before the teacher training begins.

Teacher Training ahead! The schedule may be viewed "here" and it is finished and confirmed. You can also click on the "TRAINING DATES" link in the above menu. We have a little wiggle room if we need to swap dates for a few people, but we want to make sure we don't overbook the labs. If you need to send someone on a different date, then please contact me and I will adjust the numbers so we can keep our training class sizes in check.

Final Quote 5/13/2011 CV eSchool all courses. (Raises per seat license by $100 per seat, but gives us all courses and new courses....all schools present agreed to this.)

Participating schools need to get board approval to be in the consortium.

THESE ARE THE AGREEMENT DOCUMENTS THAT NEED BOARD APPROVAL, SIGNED AND TURNED IN:
