ADMINISTRATION AND SUPPORT SERVICES
Introduction

Each technology center accredited by the State Board shall provide sufficient administrative and support services to plan and conduct quality occupational training programs. The administrative staff shall hold appropriate credentials and be of sufficient strength to carry out their responsibilities.

Commendations or Strengths

Administration and staff do an excellent job of being active in the community, including participating in chambers of commerce and other community organizations.  Monthly employee feedback meetings are being held at the Chickasha campus and work groups and committee assignments have been established for the campus. The committee meetings are well documented with appropriate agendas and minutes.

Specific Recommendations for Improvement

This administrative review standard was met.

General Suggestions for Improvement

It is recommended that the Chickasha campus develop a student needs assessment to help with program development. This is valuable information that would help determine the implementation of new programs.

Both campuses need to develop a more formal system for acquiring and disseminating information from the Business and Industry Services team for the purposes of program development.  It appears this is being done on an informal basis. However, documented information can be helpful to justify the need for the implementation of a program. The administrators' credentials and the list of professional development activities the administrators participate in should be updated annually.
