PROGRAM EVALUATION SUMMARY

School: Canadian Valley Technology Center, Cowan Campus
Program: Biomedical Sciences
Chairperson: Tina Fugate

INTRODUCTION

This program benefits from having two enthusiastic teachers in a great facility. Both teachers
have worked hard to increase emollment, and they have good communication and excellent
rapport with personnel at their two main sending schools. The teachers work well together in a
cooperative effort and have strong administrative support for their program.

COMMENDATIONS OR STRENGTHS

Biomedical Sciences students see the value in Canadian Valley Technology Center's program
and continue in the career major for the full two years.

The instructors are well organized and have implemented schedules that maximize and make
efficient use of the students' instruction time. The technology center provides excellent resources
for the students, and the program has strong site director support as well as parental involvement.
Safety is important to faculty and students. School-wide communication is effective and strong.
